Dear bride and groom,

The decision to spend your life together and to say 'I do' undoubtedly marks one of the most important steps in life! When planning the wedding day, the issue of sustainability plays an increasingly important role - after all, the day is supposedly full of things that you only wear or use once.

Many couples therefore consciously choose to use resource-saving equipment for their big day. From the choice of location to the decoration, catering, the wedding dress and, last but not least, the sparkling jewelry, there are numerous ways to make your wedding environmentally friendly. Every little step counts, because: There is no Planet B!

Our jewelry is intended to inspire you to take a special look at the beauty, longevity and sustainability of your new pieces of jewelry. Whether it's an engagement or wedding ring, jewelry for your bridal look or timeless accessories for bridesmaids and maid of honor. We want to accompany you at the beginning of your journey together as a married couple and celebrate your love with fine gold and silver jewelry.

In this article, we will give you some background information on sustainable and long-lasting bridal jewelry and give you three helpful tips on how to find the perfect wedding jewelry.

Sustainable jewellery as a highlight for your bridal look

Have you already found your dream dress? Wonderful! Whether you bought it new, bought it second-hand and are giving it a second life, or rented it (yes, that's possible!) - only with the right jewelry will your radiant bridal look be completely perfect.

It gets even more glamorous if you choose sustainable jewelry. But what does that actually mean?

Sustainable jewelry is made under responsible conditions and with environmentally friendly materials. We use recycled 925 sterling silver and recycled 14k or 18k gold for our jewelry - whatever you want. By using recycled materials from urban mining, we can help keep precious resources in the cycle instead of mining new ones.

In addition to gold and silver, we work with fair gemstones and lab grown diamonds (synthetic), a sustainable alternative to natural diamonds. Our manufactured diamonds are grown in the laboratory using green electricity and are guaranteed to be conflict-free. Lab grown diamonds are optically, physically and chemically identical to natural diamonds and cannot be distinguished from one another with the naked eye, even by experts. A big advantage for you is that jewelry with lab grown diamonds is a little more cost-effective - while being just as beautiful as natural diamonds.

Last but not least, the origin and production of our jewelry is important to us. All designs are manufactured responsibly in small family businesses and factories in Germany, Italy and Spain.

3 tips for choosing the perfect bridal jewelry

Jewelry refines and completes the bridal look. But wouldn't it be nice if you could wear it for more than just one day? Here are our three tips on how to find the right jewelry that you'll still love to pull out of your jewelry box after your wedding day!

1. It's all about the right material

If you want to enjoy your jewelry for a long time, you should always choose high-quality materials. Of course, your budget also plays a decisive role here.

Silver jewelry (made from 925 sterling silver / gold plated) is usually a little less expensive than gold jewelry, but is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a timeless and versatile piece of jewelry. Gold plated silver jewelry also offers the opportunity to enjoy the luxury of gold at a more affordable price without having to forego the beauty of the jewelry.

With jewelry made of gold (14k or 18k) you have a slightly larger investment at the beginning, but you can wear your favorite pieces for a lifetime without worrying about the alloy fading over time. Consider the bridal jewelry as an investment in your jewelry collection that will accompany you for many years to come.

2. Timeless design across seasons

By choosing a classic design, you are investing in timeless elegance that will last for seasons. Choose simple yet edgy designs that not only suit your current style but also effortlessly harmonize with changing fashion trends.

3. Make sure you have the right balance

Do you have a glamorous, opulent princess dress? Lots of lace, sequins or tulle? Then simple, minimalist jewelry is a wonderful addition to draw attention to your wedding dress and round off the look with a few delicate earrings , an elegant bracelet or a filigree necklace .

Is your dress rather simple, elegant and without much decoration? Then you can create a real eye-catcher with your jewelry! For example, choose a pair of large, sparkling earrings or a long necklace with a pendant. Our engravable necklaces are particularly beautiful and you can embellish them with your initials and those of your partner.

14 and 18 carat gold - Long-lasting beauty & made to last forever

For jewelry that you want to wear for a lifetime, you should not compromise and choose a high-quality, stable and durable material. We therefore recommend choosing 14k (585) or 18k (750) gold, especially for engagement rings and wedding rings.

Gold is a precious, stable material and embodies elegance, durability and timeless beauty. Choosing between 14k and 18k gold depends on your personal preferences and budget. 14k gold is usually a little more affordable and consists of 58.5% pure gold and other metals such as copper and silver. 18k gold is usually a little more expensive because it has a higher purity of 75% fine gold. Both variants offer excellent quality and durability. No matter which carat number you choose, a piece of gold jewelry is a timeless investment that symbolizes your love and connection across generations.
